No segundo dia da nossa mobilidade, visitámos a Esenler Ayvalidere Primary School. A manhã começou com as apresentações oficiais ao diretor da escola e a vários membros da equipa educativa, momento em que também tivemos a oportunidade de conhecer as comitivas da Grécia e de Espanha, que se encontram igualmente em mobilidade nesta instituição. Após uma visita guiada às instalações — onde conhecemos salas específicas, nomeadamente as de educação especial, e assistimos a aulas fascinantes de criptologia e experiências de ciência e tecnologia.

Na hora do almoço fomos brindados com uma refeição, inteiramente preparado e oferecido pelos encarregados de educação dos alunos. Este gesto de profunda hospitalidade e carinho por parte das famílias não só nos permitiu provar sabores autênticos, como também nos fez sentir verdadeiramente acolhidos pela comunidade escolar.

A tarde prosseguiu com a assistência a mais duas aulas: a primeira, de ciências, foi repleta de experiências conduzidas com entusiasmo por professores e alunos do primeiro ciclo; a segunda centrou-se na consciencialização sobre o ambiente e a reciclagem.

Já depois de sairmos da escola, fomos à descoberta da cidade, atravessando o Bósforo para colocar, finalmente, um pé no continente asiático. Este dia culminou na Ponte Galata, bem no coração vibrante da metrópole turca.

On the second day of our mobility, we visited Esenler Ayvalidere Primary School. The morning began with official introductions to the school principal and various members of the educational team. During this time, we also had the opportunity to meet the delegations from Greece and Spain, who are also on a mobility program at this institution. This was followed by a guided tour of the facilities, where we visited specialized classrooms—specifically those for special education—and observed fascinating lessons on criptology and science and technology experiments.

At lunchtime, we were treated to a remarkable meal, entirely prepared and hosted by the students' parents. This gesture of deep hospitality and warmth from the families not only allowed us to taste authentic flavors but also made us feel truly welcomed by the school community.

The afternoon continued with two more lessons: the first, a science class filled with experiments enthusiastically led by teachers and primary school students, and the second focused on environmental awareness and recycling.

After leaving the school, we set out to explore the city, crossing the Bosphorus to finally set foot on the Asian continent. The day culminated at the Galata Bridge, right in the vibrant heart of the Turkish metropolis.
